Spins to Wins – Smartcore Celebrates Success at the Eventex Awards 2024

Founded in 2009 to recognise stars in the world of events and experiential marketing, the Eventex Awards highlight the best events, brand experiences, tech, suppliers, and venues from the world of events. This year’s 14th edition saw a record-breaking 1,207 entries from 62 countries and 6 continents. Out of these, the Netherlands has 24 winners and Smartcore takes centre stage as one.

Campaign Highlights:

The Spin-to-Win campaign was designed to address the time constraints and hectic schedules of exhibitors. Innovation and creativity were vital at every stage, connecting the dots in this well-thought out and planned strategy. The Smartcore team implemented a three-phase marketing strategy that included generating awareness via targeted email, telemarketing campaigns, and social media. Hand-delivered personalised invitations to exhibitors maximised engagement, and the Spin-to-Win game onsite provided a fun and interactive way to facilitate lead capture through badge scanning, ensuring efficient follow-up by the digital sales team.

 

Results:

The effectiveness of the Spin-to-Win campaign is reflected in the remarkable results. The campaign engaged 325 participants in the Spin-to-Win game and generated 282 interested leads, representing potential long-term business opportunities. It achieved an impressive ROI of 350%, demonstrating its efficiency and value. The campaign's long-term impact was evident with pipeline revenue exceeding €250,000, and it also provided immediate financial benefits with onsite revenue amounting to €63,000.

The success of the Spin-to-Win campaign reverberated not only through the quantifiable results but also in the qualitative impact it had on Smartcore's brand image. Positive feedback from participants further solidified the campaign's success, turning it into a benchmark for future industry events, and establishing Smartcore as a pioneer in innovative and effective digital marketing strategies.
